(About Us + Mission Statement)
Diabexa is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California. We're run by high school and college students.

Our mission statement:
To assist communities and individuals in need with managing diabetes.

Non-medical factors like economic stability, racial identity, and education can put certain communities and individuals at higher risk levels for diabetes. Our current focus is to assist individuals and communities negatively impacted by these risk factors, called social determinants of health, through education and financial support.

tl;dr: Diabexa is a diabetes-focused, student-run nonprofit currently focused on undoing inequalities found in diabetes.
